The alerts can be configured to send an email when there is a motion detection by the camera. If you go away, you can set it to cover the inside of the house by simply turning the camera and covering the entrance door, or a hallway. Whatever you can see as you turn the camera 350 degrees can be covered with motion alerts and email alerts.<\/p>\n<p>We have used these cameras in our clients\u2019 vacant properties for years and they are very reliable in our experience. The only issue is when there is a power outage the camera re-centers itself, so you need to move the camera back to the desired motion detection position. Simple.<\/p>\n<div id=\"featurebullets_secondary_view_div\" class=\"a-section\">\n<div id=\"feature-bullets\" class=\"a-section a-spacing-small\">\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><i class=\"fa fa-info-circle \" ><\/i><\/span> Technical Know How is Required<\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1.125em;\">To setup the camera properly, there is some technical know-how required. Depending the camera and your WiFi network setup, you may need to open a port on your WiFi router. Also, for email alerts, you\u2019ll need to know some technical info about your email provider, like SMTP port numbers and other stuff.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>While single indoor pan\/tilt cameras can be a cheap, effective and simple option, you can setup multiples, or for a few more bucks you can get outdoor cameras with a DVR recorder.
